Koinonia CAT Day and Pray for one another was held on the 15th May 2010.
The whole day was amazing and it was such a blessing to serve the Siloam Baptist church in Tafarnaubach. Throughout the day we helped clean the church, move things into storage, fitted new flooring, washed the windows, do the guttering and anything else we could find that we thought would bless them.
At 5pm we invited members of the church to join us for ‘fish and chips’. It was great as different generations of strangers came together for a time of fellowship. Even though we had never met each other before, we were all one body.
This time of fellowship continued as we held the ‘pray for one another’ meeting with the members of the church. The Pastor of the church – Islwyn Morgan spoke a powerful word on prayer from James 5:16 and Acts 12 as people in Mary’s were prayer together for Peter who was in prison. Following the message we had a great time praying in small groups and then as one large group.
The day was truly such a blessing!
