Today’s Reading: Romans 4:13-5:5 (additional reading: Psalm 14:1-7 & Proverbs 19:17)

If the devil and this world system can get you to consider your limitations- whether it’s limitations of your body, your mind, or finances- You will be defeated! Limitations will say, “You can’t, but God say’s, “You can!” Today God desires for us to look beyond our limitations and to look at His promises. If He promised it, you can have it! The reason we get stuck in the mud many times is because we take our focus off of faith! You are either a person of faith, or a person of doubt. There are no buts or ifs in faith! The same Christ that was raised from the dead, now lives in you!

Listen to the text again, and not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (Since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He’s 100 years old! Sarah’s in her 90s! (In the natural this is scientifically impossible, but Abraham trusted God).

People of faith don’t settle for the natural nor do they accept normal. He did not waver at the promises of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

vs. 20 tells us he did waver. What does that mean? He never weighted or considered any other option. He never thought that there could possibly be a door #1, #2, #3. He just believed!

2 Cor. 1:20-21 tell us “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,”

If God promised it, then you can expect it. Don’t doubt what He has prepared for you.
